As an industry leader and employer of choice, we're Made for More.About the OpportunityDue to ongoing growth, WesTrac has a new opportunity for an experienced Talent Specialist to take on the role of Talent Acquisition Lead focusing on recruitment across white collar and professional services.Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will partner with key stakeholders to deliver end to end recruitment activities for a broad range of business units and provide day to day leadership to one direct report.You will be an experienced recruiter who can deliver high quality outcomes whilst being an engaging and collaborative leader. This position offers a blend between front-line leadership and hands on recruitment activities and will see you managing a portfolio of active roles including key leadership positions.This is a permanent full-time role based from our Tomago Head Office and offers opportunity for ongoing development.Key Accountabilities
- Align recruitment activities to strategic objectives
- Partner with hiring managers to secure the best available talent for key roles
- Proactively source candidates through a range of channels
- Lead interviews with hiring managers
- Interpret psychometric reports to support in the hiring process
- Proactively navigate changing market conditions and internal requirements
- Project Manager key recruitment projects and improvement initiatives
- Use data and reporting to boost efficiencies in the recruitment process and prepare monthly reports
- Act as a subject matter expert and point of escalation for the recruitment team
- Leverage WesTrac's EVP to attract talent and boost brand awareness across LinkedIn and other platforms
- Leading by example and modelling WesTrac's values of Safety, Pride, Accountability, Respect & Customer
- Passion for all things recruitment
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an end-to-end recruitment role
- Detail oriented with ability to understand unique role requirements and thoroughly screen candidates
- Driven by outcomes with an ability to be agile and adapt as the business and team continue to grow
- Organisational skills and capacity to work under limited supervision
- Outstanding time management skills
- Skilled negotiator with ability to influence at all organisational levels
- Leadership experience (Desirable)
- Tertiary qualification in HR (Desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to conduct behavioural based interviews, scope roles and conduct thorough recruitment processes
