About the Role 

The Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for leading the development, implementation, execution and management of attraction and sourcing strategies for roles and recruitment campaigns across their assigned portfolios at Wesley Mission Queensland.

The role provides specialist advice and expertise on effective recruitment strategies to proactively attract and source quality candidates to WMQ. This will involve the design, implementation and evaluation of recruitment campaigns, and the creation of talent pipelines and talent pools.

The Talent Acquisition Lead will support the Team’s strategic goals which include projects centred around strategic sourcing, reviewing, and refreshing the candidate experience and the WMQ EVP.

About You 

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and facilitating end to end recruitment and selection processes.
  • Demonstrated experience formulating, developing, implementing and evaluating Talent Acquisition plans, policies, projects and strategies.
  • Strong prior experience in a similar role providing recruitment advice and expertise on Talent Acquisition strategies and sourcing techniques.
  • Strong prior experience in providing advice to managers and senior managers, requiring confidentiality and a high attention to detail.
  • Practical experience to successfully coordinate workforce management strategies in a changing environment.
  • High level of computer literacy, including a sophisticated use of HR technology systems.
  • Adaptable and pragmatic, with the ability to adjust to evolving organisational needs.
  • Prior experience in building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Experience working collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic organisation; high-level of resilience and perseverance.
