About the role
The Talent Acquisition Manager role is a high level position overseeing the organisations Talent Acquisition, workforce planning and strategic talent management function.
The successful candidate will have spent time in mid to larger resources or resources services organisations and have the capacity to see and implement a vision, and the hunger to make an impact and influence change.
With the ability to manage stakeholders, think strategically and develop the organisations talent function your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
Qualifications & experience
- Minimum 8+yrs experience in a senior Talent Acquisition role
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field i.e. Business, Training, HR
- Knowledge of industrial / employee relations law relating to recruitment and onboarding (Desirable)
- Experience within the resources industry
- Strong leadership and operational experience
- Proven experience with human resource information systems and sourcing / recruitment tools / software
- Effective problem-solving, negotiation skills
- The ability to think outside the box, be creative, find solutions and collaborate.
- Extensive recruitment management experience
- Experience overseeing mobilisation and training functions
- Workforce planning and talent strategy experience
Tasks & responsibilities
- Design, implementation and execution of recruitment strategy
- Organisational development exposure
- Establish training and development programs
- Workforce related budgeting and reporting (recruitment metrics)
- Attraction and sourcing strategies, identifying and adding new methods to the recruitment process
- Oversee all recruitment operations and workforce branding initiatives
- Analysis and implementation of recruitment policies and processes
- System implementation and rollout
- Determining and administering of appropriate assessment criteria and methods for candidate suitability
- Analysis of recruitment data to identify areas for improvement within the business
- Manage, mentor and guide the business on recruitment practices, including effective forecasting of requirements, communicating the company brand, interviewing techniques and the Talent Acquisition process to line managers and internal staff.
- Manages the recruitment process end to end
- Coaching / mentoring leaders with talent management
- Development and growth of the talent management team
