Talent Acquisition Officer

The Talent Acquisition Officer will play a critical role in shaping our workforce by identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent. This individual will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience and alignment with our company values.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on best hiring practices.
- Utilise various recruitment channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system with candidate information and recruitment metrics.
- Conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and provide timely feedback to candidates.
- Negotiate job offers and ensure a smooth transition for new hires during the onboarding process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and human resources.
Selection Criteria
- Certificate III in Human Resource Management or Higher - Desirable.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably emergency response industry.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
