About the Role
As a Recruitment Officer at Fortify Health Group, you will play a key role in identifying and attracting top talent to meet the staffing needs of our organisation. You will be responsible for the entire recruitment process, from job posting and candidate sourcing to interviewing, onboarding and maintenance of staff files.
Essential Criteria
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
- Create and post job advertisements on various platforms, including job boards, social media, and the company website.
- Screen resumes and applications to shortlist potential candidates.
- Conduct interviews, both in-person and virtually, to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings.
- Manage the offer process, including salary negotiations and contract preparation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Build and maintain relationships with universities, job fairs, and other recruitment sources.
- Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities and metrics to HR management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
To be successful you must posses
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Officer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment techniques, including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software such as Employment Hero.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Current Drivers License desired
- Current QLD Paid Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screener or ability to obtain one
- Rights to work in Australia
