Novotel Sydney Darling Square is seeking a highly organized Talent & Culture Coordinator to join our team on a Part Time basis. Reporting to the Talent & Culture Business Partner, you will support the Talent & Culture operations while also providing administrative support to our General Manager.

Sydney’s iconic Pumphouse which has recently gone under an extensive refurbishment is inspired by the venue’s rich industrial history. The design and concept of the venue is influenced by signature heritage traits of the building once supplying power to a booming city in the late 1800’s, to a microbrewery, and now to Sydney’s newest Bar and Restaurant.
Job Description
As a Talent & Culture Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading the Talent & Culture function across the Hotel. you will be the glue of our team, helping keep all aspects of Talent & Culture running effectively. This is a busy role, so you'll need to be confident, comfortable working with high volume, and have great attention to detail. In an environment where no two days are the same, you'll need to thrive on change and be able to adapt as needed, you'll need to be highly organized, not only with your own work, but always looking ahead to ensure the Talent & Culture team are well prepared for what’s coming up. You'll also need to be a great communicator - comfortable liaising with Managers and staff of all levels, handling enquiries, and communicating information out to our team members. This position looks after all Talent & Culture systems – you’ll be managing our learning management system, recruitment system, and our filing system, so strong computer literacy is essential. You’ll also need to be able to confidently navigate an Excel spreadsheet to take care of all Talent & Culture reporting. This rare opportunity will also provide administrative support to our General Manager, which will allow the successful candidate with a unique opportunity to work closely alongside our Executive Committee.
With access to lots of sensitive information, you’ll need to be discreet, trustworthy, and be able to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality at all times. We are looking for someone who is passionate about innovating processes, always looking for ways to improve efficiency and the experience for our team members. But also someone who brings some creativity and fun to the role- this is hospitality after all! You’ll need to be comfortable working autonomously with the support of the Talent & Culture Business Partner, and confident to pick up a project and run with it.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have the capability to managed all of the Talent and Culture systems, including our learning management system, recruitment system, and file system. Coordinate all Talent & Culture reports with the support of the Talent & Culture Business Partner, and ensure that all relevant information is communicated to our Hotel staff and assist with the planning and execution of engagement activations for our team.
