Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and motivated People & Culture Partner to drive and deliver a best in class People & Culture strategy to various segments of our business.
The People & Culture Partner will work directly with our business to provide expert advice and support to various segments of our business on a day-to-day basis. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on responsibilities. You will collaborate with managers to address employee matters and enhance performance management. Supporting the Group Chief People Officer, you will contribute to activities related to performance management, learning and development, organisational development and workforce planning and provide coaching to operational leaders to ensure consistent employee experiences and engagement. In collaboration with our Group Chief People Officer, you will also work on key projects such as streamlining HR systems, processes and ways of working, along with integrating new businesses and teams into our business. This is truly a diverse role where no two days will look the same.
The People and Culture Partner will be based in Sydney and the role is offered on a hybrid working basis.
QualificationsThe ideal People and Culture Partner will have the following skills and experience:
- A tertiary qualification in HR or a related field is desirable
- Proven experience as a HR/People and Culture Generalist - with exposure to recruitment/onboarding. Past experience in a start up People & Culture environment would be highly advantageous
- Exposure to, and understanding of HRIS/people systems
- Experience with, and understanding of, Australian employee relations, industrial law and employment conditions.
- Excellent communication and engagement skills, displaying executive wisdom, business acumen and an honest and upfront manner
- Ability to build relationships with all business leaders and staff across the business
- Proven track record in managing multiple objectives and projects while maintaining a calm disposition
- Delivering outputs to a high standard, and the ability to respond flexibly to changing circumstances and priorities
- Highly self-motivated, resilient and considered with the ability to navigate and overcome roadblocks, absorb new ideas and concepts quickly
