The successful applicant will monitor aspects of WHS to ensure a safe working environment, be responsible for the ordering and storage of all TAS resources, provide preparation and support for lessons where equipment and materials are required.
This role is a term-time only position. The hours of work can be negotiated, with an expectation that you will be available for the core teaching hours of the day.
We are seeking an enthusiastic TAS Assistant for an independent girls' school in Sydney's Parramatta region.
The Role
* Permanent - Full Time or Part Time - negotiable
* Term Time Only
* July Start
The Successful Candidate will;
* Hold a current working with children check
* Have experience in a workshop environment
* Have experience with textiles, sewing machines and technology, such as laser cutters and 3D printers is preferred
* Have a thorough understanding of WH&S and risk management principles
* Have a First Aid Certificate or be willing to acquire one
* Be able to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team.
