The Coghlan Group offers a diverse range of services for clients across Australia including tax and accounting, residential and commercial building, road construction, real estate, financial planning and wealth management, as well as mortgage broking. Due to significant growth within the group, the Tax and Accounting division (Accounting Plus) is expanding.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The selected candidate for this role will be responsible for preparing personal and small business financial statement and tax returns for a broad portfolio of businesses and individual clients, including preparation of necessary schedules.
External training and support from within the business will be given from the Director and senior team members.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate for this role will be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with:
- Relevant qualifications and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on tax accounting experience
- Experience with HandiSoft, MYOB or Xero
- Competence in the preparation of BAS and IAS paperwork
- Experience in small business trust and personal tax return process would be highly beneficial
- CA, CPA, IPA would be advantageous
- A professional approach and concise communication skills
- A desire to work in a fast-paced, team environment
