As the Taxation Accountant, your primary focus will include:
Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, and SMSFs.
Conducting tax research, drafting opinion letters, and assisting with audits.
Handling BAS, IAS, and FBT returns, along with preparation of cover letters.
Providing proactive client service to ensure satisfaction and promote company objectives.
Meeting agreed sales targets and KPIs while adhering to standards and procedures.
Identifying and cultivating both current and potential clients to generate active tax work.
Engaging industry groups to secure collaborative opportunities and assist with business development.
Managing negotiations and disputes professionally to foster repeat and referral business.
To be considered you must have:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or Equivalent.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional or public accounting experience. Expertise in preparing tax returns and financial statements is essential.
CA (Chartered Accountant) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualifications are highly regarded and will be considered a significant advantage.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail is paramount to ensure accuracy in tax preparation and financial reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal Skills ensuring the ability to convey complex financial information in a clear and concise manner is essential for client satisfaction and team collaboration.
