MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate and carry out various accounting roles of client files and accounts
Preparation of Business Activity Statements
Preparation of Financial Statements & Income Tax Returns across various entities
Client contact
Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
Other tasks as directed
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
Degree Qualified
Current drivers licence / own vehicle
Experience:
2 to 3 years previous experience in a similar role
Experience with financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships & individuals
Experience producing Business Activity Statements
Bookkeeping experience an advantage
Skills:
Experience with accounting programs including MYOB, Quickbooks, and Xero software, MYOB Accountants Office an advantage
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Excellent oral and written communication skills including a high accuracy level
Efficient, well organised and able to meet deadlines with efficient time management skills
Provide a high level of accuracy in processing business correspondence
Attention to detail
PERFORMANCE GOALS:
Complete accounting tasks on time
Deal with clients and staff professionally
Assist staff with tasks as required
