ABOUT THE ROLE
- Preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for Individuals, Company, Trust, Partnership and SMSF.
- Preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT Returns and Payroll Tax Returns.
- Bookkeeping and data entry.
- Liaise with relevant taxation and government authorities on behalf of clients including the ATO and ASIC.
- Work with a team to ensure client work is completed efficiently.
- Assisting the Senior Accountant with consulting and client meetings.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in taxation and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of Xero, XPM, Xero Tax, Myob, and CLASS (preferred).
- Excellent understanding of accounting and tax concepts.
- A positive attitude towards others.
- Happy and easy to approach.
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
- Be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dedicated to delivering exceptional client service.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A quick learner and can demonstrate the ability to think outside the box.
