Description
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
- Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Communicate with clients and government agencies regarding tax notices and audits.
- Collaborate with other team members to deliver comprehensive financial services to clients.
- Maintain accurate and organised client records and documentation.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA or CPA certification, or progress towards certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (XERO) and Microsoft Office Suite.
