Tax Accountant

Suitability: 

Role will suit an accountant with at least 2 years public practice experience looking for full time work. 

Qualifications:            

CPA / CA (or looking to undertake the same) preferred but not essential.  

Remuneration:            

Initially set at $85,000 - $100,000 per annum inclusive of superannuation, depending on experience and qualifications.  

Location:                     

We are located in Padstow and looking to expand into Sydney (CBD) within the next year.  We have extremely low staff turnover and are able to offer flexible conditions in terms of hours and days of work.  We are a 2 minute walk to the station and there is abundant free parking available.

Established more than 45 years ago, our firm provides integrated professional services to small business owners, professionals and high net-worth individuals.  

Overview:                   

We are looking for a ‘switched on’ applicant to join our team in a Tax Accountant role.  The ideal applicant will be enthusiastic, presentable and have a high level of attention to detail.  

Role:                           

Role will require involvement across a number of entity structures.  Task delivery primarily includes preparation of financial statements and income tax returns.  

Skills:                          

Strong mathematical skills essential, strong written and verbal communication skills preferred.  Familiarity with accounting and tax treatment for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSFs is required, together with a working knowledge of Excel, MYOB, Quickbooks and Xero.
