Form of work Job Posting: Tax Accountant
ABS TAX - Accountant - Accounting is a small taxation, accounting and bookkeeping firm based in Osborne Park. We are seeking a qualified Tax Accountant with a minimum of 2 to 3 years experience working in an Accounting Firm.
This position will initially be 3-4 days per week with possibility to 5 days full-time position for right candidate. We have a friendly working environment with no overtime required as we believe in work/life balance. We have a large and varied client base.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Studying towards CPA/CA/IPA qualification is desirable.
Minimum 2-3 years experience as a Tax Accountant
Experience with Xero and MYOB products
Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet deadlines
Tasks and Responsibilities
Preparation of individual, partnership, trust and company tax returns using Xero tax
Preparation of financial statements and journal entries
Preparation of IAS and BAS statements including review of client data
Assistance with in bookkeeping where required
Assistance with adhoc admin duties including helping in finance business.
