Snapshot of duties:
- Consultation on tax and business-related matters (e.g., Division 7A, CGT, FBT, GST)
- Managing compliance work for various structures (companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders)
- Preparation of BAS and IAS statements
- Direct consultation with clients and their staff as required
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 3-5+ years of Australian experience in public practice accounting
- Accounting qualifications, ideally CA or CPA
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines with proven attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience with Xero or a similar accounting platform
Suitable public practice experience in Australian tax is essential, and our client is seeking an individual with a positive, friendly attitude, a good sense of humor, and the desire to thrive within a great team environment.
