Tax and Business Services Assistant Manager 

Y Partners is a medium sized accounting and wealth advisory firm located in the Adelaide CBD.

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Manager with at least 5 years’ experience working in a professional practice.

In this role you will:

  • Work closely with a partner and assist in the supervision and training of other team members
  • Review Financial Statements, Tax Returns and Business Activity Statements for Individuals, Partnerships, Trusts and Companies in a wide range of industries
  • Build and manage client relationships to provide support and create solutions for their business, taxation, and accounting requirements
  • Prepare, review, and analyse Management Financial Statements
  • Prepare and review year-end tax planning reports to present to clients
  • Assist junior staff with training and development to build their skills and knowledge

To be successful you will have: 

  • Comprehensive understanding of Income Tax, Goods and Services Tax, Capital Gains Tax, FBT and Division7A
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in the use of Xero, MYOB, and Microsoft Office
  • CA or CPA qualifications
  • An ability to build and maintain professional working relationships with team members and clients
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team 

A keen interest in cloud-based systems will be well regarded, as will experience with APS Software.
