Seeking an experienced Accountant to join a highly reputable North Queensland firm offering excellent growth opportunities!

With a team of over 50 people, they have a strong presence in the Queensland Market and due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Accountant to join their energetic & dynamic team in Cairns.

About You
We are seeking a motivated, proactive and keen individual who has proven Business Services/taxation experience. You are also required to have/be:

• Minimum 2-3 years of Australian public practice experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Degree qualified.
• Ability to work within a flexible team environment.
• Full working rights within Australia.

The Role
Our client is now seeking an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to join them! Your duties include:

• Preparation of tax returns, financial statements and BAS for a variety of entities.
• Working with a diverse client portfolio.
• Preparation of tax advice for clients in relation to budgeting, restructuring, tax minimisation strategies etc.
• You will be exposed to a varied client base, comprised of different entities and industries, with turnovers up to $20million.
