In the Tax Manager role you will work with a team of tax experts committed to helping Cromwell manage its tax obligations. Like our team, you will have a deep knowledge of tax law and tax compliance, as well as experience using tax software and Microsoft Office suite.
You will be confident in your own ability to solve complex tax issues as well as being a supportive team player.
You will also bring;
- Master of Tax or CA/CPA qualification (Essential)
- Experience in a management position in a chartered or large commercial environment.
- Experience in financial services, funds management or property (Desirable)
- Experience in specific trust taxation and Attribution Managed Investment Trust concepts, GST, CGT, tax depreciation, MIT withholding tax (Highly Desirable).
About the Role
Cromwell is a diverse and layered operation, which brings a strong need for experts in tax management to support us as we grow. As the Tax Manager, you will specialise in the delivery of tax advisory services to the Australian business. Reporting to our Head of Tax, you will be responsible for the ongoing management and delivery of services including;
- Managing income tax compliance and advisory for Cromwell's property and securities trusts.
- Managing Cromwell's GST compliance systems and process.
- Managing tax reporting requirements.
- Managing Cromwell's tax depreciation process.
- Analysis of tax related issues.
