We have an exciting opportunity in our Technology Business Management team for a TBM Product Specialist.
Reporting into the Technology Business Manager, you will enjoy engaging with internal stakeholders and share knowledge on the benefits of using the TBM Tool to gain greater insights into costs.
You will be responsible for providing support to the Technology Business Management team in the design and implementation of solutions, maintaining data structures and architectures that facilitate effective management and utilization of information related to technology costs, services, and performance. The TBM Product Specialist works with various levels of management to develop, interpret and implement solutions that are aligned with the TBM framework which helps eHealth manage and optimise its technology investment and demonstrate the business value of their IT initiatives.

What you will do
As an integral member of the Finance TBM Team, you will:
- Provide specialised technical expertise, guidance and recommendations in design and implementation of a sustainable TBM framework, ensuring alignment with business strategies and goals.
- Develop and maintain a transparent view of IT costs, helping stakeholders understand the value and impact of technology investments on business outcomes.
- Manage and analyse data related to IT costs, performance, and consumption to provide actionable insights for decision-making. Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization, driving efficiency in IT operations and resource utilisation.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand their requirements and challenges, facilitating communication and alignment between technology and business functions.
- Conduct benchmarking and comparative analysis to assess the organization's IT performance against industry standards, identifying areas for improvement.
- Provide training and education to internal teams on TBM principles, ensuring a shared understanding of the value of technology investments.
- Foster and sustain strategic partnerships across teams, Directorates, the wider Health agencies, and relevant external agencies.
- Providing leadership and direction to effectively manage agreed service and project outcomes to ensure successful delivery and performance-based, innovative, responsive, and accountable customer-focused work culture.
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who have the following skills:
- A Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, or other relevant disciplines with preferable TBM related certification, or extensive equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with TBM tools and technologies. Proven experience working with Technology Business Management principles and frameworks. Previous involvement in TBM projects or initiatives is a significant advantage.
- Sound knowledge of financial planning and analysis processes, management accounting systems, processes, and techniques with experience in translating business needs into effective technology solutions.
