About the Role: We are seeking a Home EconomicsTeacher Aide to join our team as soon as possible.
Typical Duties/Skills may include:
- Set up workshop/classroom for practical lessons, including cooking and textiles, arranging food items and equipment.
- Purchase and organize supplies following college procedures, ensuring adequacy for lessons.
- Maintain tidy appearance of kitchens, storerooms, and textile rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Assist teachers and students during practical sessions, providing necessary support.
- Clean workspaces and equipment, excluding certain items.
- Wash laundry, including loading/unloading washing machines and folding linen.
- Clean up and secure classroom after lessons, checking for missing equipment.
- Assist with administrative tasks and maintenance, including WHS documentation and equipment stocktake.
