Teacher Aide Role (Secondary)
Part-time position (two days per week) based at the Greenacre Secondary campus.
This is a temporary position commencing 29th of January 2024 until 12th of April 2024 with a possible extension.
Malek Fahd Islamic School Ltd (MFIS) is a growing Kindergarten to Year 12 Muslim School with more than 3000 students across three campuses in the Sydney suburbs of Greenacre, Beaumont Hills, and Hoxton Park.

Selection Criteria
- Demonstrates and displays an understanding of the Islamic ethos of the school, supporting the school’s philosophy, values, beliefs, and mission whilst contributing to a caring and supportive environment for all students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to embed the MFIS vision and educational philosophy effectively, resulting in successful outcomes for all learners.
- Ability to with work with individual students in Secondary School to support their specific areas of need in both individual and integrated environments with the aim to increase learning outcomes.
- Ability to assist class teacher with providing students with the opportunity to develop personal, social and independent learning skills.
- Ability to develop student reading, writing and speaking skills.
- Capacity to reinforce appropriate behaviours in the classroom.
- Ability to assist the class teacher with implementing an individual program or individual subject outcomes.
- Capacity to assist the class teacher with monitoring and evaluating students' individual education progress.
- Ability to assist with the creation of modified literacy and numeracy worksheets and activities.
- Demonstrate assistance with the implementation of a student’s Individual Learning Programs.
- Suitable Education Support qualifications.
