This is a six (6) month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 3, 2024 with possible extension.Ballajura Primary School (PS) is seeking a passionate educator who ideally displays a strong knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and confidence in providing an engaging education with a focus on maximising potential, guided by the desire to consistently seek to improve student learning. The successful applicant should have a high level of understanding of the SCSA Judging Standards, Elastik and delivery of explicit teaching techniques, where data drives whole school pedagogies practices and programs which are used to maximum impact on student learning.The successful applicant will ideally be a highly motivated, energetic, team-focussed, and student-centred person that promotes, builds, and maintains professional relationships. They should display excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. Our school has a very positive culture in the manner it supports staff and students. We utilise a team orientated approach to provide positive outcomes.The capacity to work as an active and effective member of a collaborative team by sharing experiences and resources is highly desirable. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. - Complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
