Wellington High School services a rural community in Central New South Wales and provides a comprehensive curriculum for Years 7 to 12 in a caring and supporting environment, providing programs which cater for students of all abilities. It is the sole provider for Years 11 and 12 in the Wellington area. The school has 320 students, 64% of whom are Aboriginal and 3% LBOTE. Significant funding is received by the school through the Resource Allocation Model. Wellington High School is a Restorative Practice School and "Achievement for All Students" is a focus of all school programs. Currently the school has the capacity to cater for 6 support classes supporting students in years 7 to 12 focusing on targeted individual support. Our focus is on providing all members of our school community with a safe and caring environment in which students can access quality teaching and learning.
