About the position
Applications are currently invited from outstanding, passionate and dedicated educators and experienced curriculum leaders to join our team:
You will assist the Head of Humanities to construct and teach curriculum where every student is inspired and challenged to improve their skills and understanding of History. Your role will be to create, design, develop and deliver curriculum that is challenging, educational, inclusive, enjoyable, and encourages optimal outcomes.
You will be teaching Years 7, 9 and 10 History plus VCE Unit 2 History.

- Appropriate qualification and current registration as a teacher,
- A passion in and demonstrated curriculum knowledge of applicable subject areas,
- Demonstrated effective delivery of teaching and learning programs,
- A commitment to professional development,
- Excellent personal communication, administrative and organisational skills,
- Commitment to student wellbeing and child safety, demonstrating an understanding of appropriate behaviours when engaging with children, including children with diverse needs and backgrounds,
- Strong skills in the use of information and communication technologies (ICT), especially as they relate to teaching and learning,
- Commitment to co-curricular activities.
