REMUNERATION AND BENEFITS
All Queensland State Schools are allocated a transfer rating which is determined by the remoteness or distance of the location from a major city and services. While the base salary range for teachers is the same across the state; rural, remote and even regional locations provide additional financial benefits and incentives that are above and beyond the base salary.
Some locations also attract additional benefits including access to subsidised departmental accommodation, additional leave in the summer vacation period and the support of a dedicated team of professionals from our Centre for Learning and Wellbeing (CLaW).

Applicants for this position must possess:
- Current Queensland College of Teachers registration
- An active application for teacher employment lodged online
- An exemption card issued by Blue Card Services.
