Job description

Brookton District High School (DHS) is seeking to establish a pool of Secondary Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2025. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2024 school year, up to the end of Term 1, 2025.The positions may require teachers with specialist qualifications in the areas of English, Maths, Science or Physical Education.Professional BenefitsWorking for the Department of Education attracts a range of attractive benefits including:

Teachers and School Administrators employed at Brookton District High School in 2024 are eligible to receive an of $5,000 (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro rata for FTE and tenure). Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at the school, with the remainder paid at the end of the school year.
