The Opportunity
This exciting opportunity is for a suitably qualified teacher or VIT Teacher registration / Permission to teach. This is a permanent Monday to Friday position. You will be teaching the Victorian Pathway certificate and VCE Vocational Major. You will be supported by the teacher support team inclusive of Learning support officers a wellbeing team, student engagement support.
The position is responsible for but not limited to:
- Further develop and deliver VCE (VM), VPC learning and assessment materials
- Develop and maintain individual education programs (IEP) / student support plans and participate in regular student support meetings
- Report on student achievements regularly
- Provision of education and support to students in a way that is trauma-informed and promotes safety, positive relationships and creates a supportive learning environment
- Contribute to the safety of all students by adhering to the child safe practices
- Relevant teaching qualification
- VIT teacher registration / Permissions to Teach
- Working with children, Police Check, Current Drivers Licence
- Have a passion for education and supporting students to succeed
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Supportive team player
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
