ABOUT YOUThe successful candidates will possess the following:
- Industry based experience.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Formal qualification in a relevant area
- Experience in utilizing an online student learning management system.
- Experience in developing teaching and learning resources to ASQA standards.
Position Requirements:The department of Computing and Information Technology is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to effectively design and teach theoretical and practical sessions, to students in Web Development. Applicant must have experience working directly in Game Engines. C# programming experience is preferred but not required if the applicant is competent in other industry standard languages.Core Key Technical Skills:
- Ability to prepare, deliver and assess IT training in the following disciplines:
- Front end development includes HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React,
- Back-end development includes: ASP.Net, C#, Python, Node.js
- Database Design (MongoDB, MySQL and Firebase)
- Strong understanding of web design, UX and interface design
Core Teaching Skills:
- Experience in utilising an online student learning management system.
- Experience in developing teaching and learning resources to ASQA standards.
- Exceptional written communication skills
- Experience in conducting, capturing and editing video tutorials.
- Experience in using remote delivery tools such as WebEx/MS Teams
