About the role:
As a Team Assistant for the Supply Chain Team at McPherson's, you'll be the key support for our Director of Supply Chain and Logistics. Your role involves ensuring seamless general administration, efficient procurement of warehouse essentials, and adept coordination across various departments. From updating reports and managing financial tasks to organizing Supply Chain events, your multifaceted skills will be crucial. Your responsibilities will be to:
- Liaise with cross-functional departments and stakeholders, preparing and circulating internal and external correspondence.
- General duties including; monitoring incoming mail, ensuring timely responses, coordinating calendars, and facilitating meetings.
- Ensure availability of materials for smooth warehouse operations.
- Support coordination of report and ERP data updates, regularly producing Supply Planning and Supply Chain Reports, and publishing the monthly Operations Review.
- Reconcile non-contract related invoices and complete Supply Chain expense claims.
- Organise Supply Chain events and meetings, managing room setups, catering, and preparing agendas and minutes.
About you:
- Intermediate Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in consumer products industry.
- Ability to identify root cause of problem and determine solution.
- Project planning and management experience.
- Proven and strong experience with liaising with senior stakeholders of an organisation.
- Proven skills in defining, prioritising and organising competing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Passion for Supply Chain and Logistics.
