Optus is looking for a highly organised and motivated individual to join us as a Team Assistant. In this exciting, brand-new position, you will play a vital role in supporting the operations and administration for three of our Senior Directors that lead Agile Tribes within our Artificial Intelligence (AI) and eCommerce divisions . Your focus will involve efficient and effective support for these leaders including diary management, travel bookings, team engagement and events and general operational and admin support.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings with both internal and external parties
- Plan and organise team events such as hackathons, offsites, and engagement days, catering to team building and innovation
- Managing the onboarding process for new hires and ensuring smooth team cadence and operational rhythm
- Assisting in the coordination of various projects
- Owning and coordinating the procurement process with vendors including onboarding and contract coordination
- Monitoring the team's progress and achievements, delivering necessary reports and updates to management as requested
