About the role:
We are looking for a customer service champion Team Leader with strong communication and organisation skills. In this role you will:
- Asist the Admissions and Enrolments team in delivering efficient admissions processes
- Provide input on admissions processes, quality assurance of student applications and involvement with the initial and ongoing analysis of student data
- Drive business for Philippine market onshore and offshore
- Overall team management
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Proactively seek potential client via social media
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified clients
- Being in charge of counselling students by asking important questions, proactively listening to their needs and helping them make the most suitable decision for their study options
- Process applications for international students: ELICOS, VET, College and University (This includes course-related requests including extension, deferral, and cancellations)
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of the student's application including documents under the CRM
- Communicate with partner institutions to enquire or follow up with students’ application
- Attend professional training and industry event from institutions or the company
- Update and report application process to the manager from weekly, monthly and quarterly
- Liaise with other colleagues to help promote our brand and company to international students
- Willingness to take different opportunities, bringing the open-mindset to ad-hoc duties as required
- Understanding the Australian student visa system
- Understanding the admission process for English school, VET College and Universities in Australia
- Lead marketing events especially webinar and expo as per management guidance
- Maintaining accurate student data in student database and ensuring database processes relating to admissions procedures are adhered to
- Drive different business initiatives as assigned by management for Philippine market
- Active engagement in visa lodgement and compliance process
- Team training and coordination
- Manage and lead team by example
To be successful, the applicant will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Proven track record within the education sector (essential)
- Experience of working effectively in a high-pressure, high-volume environment
- Experience of effective staff and team workload management within a team and ability to work under minimal direct supervision (essential)
- Strong knowledge of student database processes
- Competency in use of Microsoft Office products
- Excellent written and verbal communication with proven ability to work with staff at all levels
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and an ability to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to foster a cooperative work environment
- Good problem solving skills, including the ability to exercise judgement and initiate in conflict resolution
- Ability to adhere to and disseminate policies and procedures
- Experience in using Salesforce system (desirable)
- Knowledge of ESOS Act and National Code of Practice is highly regarded
- Must be native speaker of Filipino language.
- Additional language fluency will be an added advantage
*Prior education consultant experience of more than one year in Australia is required
