As the Designer - Team Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the design process, leading a team of talented designers and ensuring the successful execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee a team of designers, providing mentorship, career development and technical support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Utilise advanced design software (such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) to create detailed and precise technical drawings and other design deliverables.
- Collaborate with clients to craft tailored solutions aligned with their requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Explore and identify potential areas for business growth, leveraging insights and knowledge to identify and foster new project opportunities.
- Proven experience (8 years plus) in design and drafting.
- Diploma in electrotechnology or equivalent.
- Training in 2D and 3D CAD software packages.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a team towards achieving project objectives.
- Instrument and Communications experience (desirable).
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) and familiarity with drafting standards and principles.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
