About the Role:
As the Designer - Team Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the design process, leading a team of talented designers and ensuring the successful execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee a team of designers, providing mentorship, career development and technical support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
• Utilise advanced design software (such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) to create detailed and precise technical drawings and other design deliverables.
• Collaborate with clients to craft tailored solutions aligned with their requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
• Explore and identify potential areas for business growth, leveraging insights and knowledge to identify and foster new project opportunities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (8 years plus) in design and drafting.
• Diploma in electrotechnology or equivalent.
• Training in 2D and 3D CAD software packages.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a team towards achieving project objectives.
• Instrument and Communications experience (desirable).
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) and familiarity with drafting standards and principles.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
