ABOUT THE ROLE: 

Building on its success in the resources, energy and infrastructure markets, Ampcontrol is expanding significantly and as a result we have an exciting opportunity available for a Digital SupportTeam Lead

Reporting to the Digital Infrastructure Manager, this position will lead and coordinate the Digital Support team to deliver high quality Help Desk support to the people of Ampcontrol. 

Core responsibilities include: 

  • Leadership and coordination of the Digital Support team 
  • Ensure Level 1 support is delivered in-line with Digital SLA 
  • Fault escalation and communication 
  • Provide technical mentoring, coaching and guidance to Digital Support team 
  • Participate in short and medium-term planning for Digital Infrastructure strategy and maintenance activities. 
  • It is expected that this role will deliver end user customer support in addition to providing Team Leadership. 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 

  • Minimum two years’ experience leading a support team in a technology-based Help Desk environment. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing team performance, adhering to SLA’s and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction. 
  • Knowledge of or exposure to a wide range of Microsoft applications including active directory, Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365. 
  • Ability to explain complicated ideas and processes to users with basic computer literacy. 
  • Relevant degree / diploma or minimum two years’ experience in network and PC support in a customer service or Help Desk environment 
  • Demonstrated experience with personal computers, peripheral devices, utilities and operating systems in a network environment. 
  • Experience in the installation and support of a variety of software applications. 
  • Demonstrated experience in analysing and resolving problems – with a technical focus. 
  • Strong communication skills
