Primary Purpose: The role of a Technical Team Lead is to oversee and drive the overall operations, support, and delivery of technology and innovation within the organization. Reporting to the Head of Business Transformation and Innovation, the Technical Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of ICT staff to execute and support the organization's technology strategy, ensuring internal business and customer delivery and operations expectations are met.
As a motivated Team Leader, you are expected to provide leadership and guidance for your technical team while also being responsible for the technical activities across design, architecture, implementation, and operations. This role requires a fine balance between leadership and technical hands-on capability to deliver business technology outcomes. As the most senior technical person, you will act as an escalation point for all complex issues within the environment.
Given the national scope of the organization, occasional interstate travel is required to ensure commitments for internal business operations and client engagements are met. The role also involves liaising with both internal and external stakeholders for the implementation of new technology capabilities related to initiatives or project work.

Technical Responsibilities:
Network Support:
- Provide technical services and support for LAN/WAN infrastructure, including network connectivity, routers, firewalls, and switches.
- Ensure the integrity and availability of network resources.
- Offer technical assistance for internal systems, cloud platforms, and network infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft-related technologies such as Windows Servers, SQL, Microsoft Desktop SOE, and Intune.
- Support cloud technologies including Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS environments.
- Manage virtualization technologies such as VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Monitor systems for alerts and notifications, and perform remote management tasks as needed.
- Identify and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.
