Planot is a specialist occupational therapy service in Perth, Western Australia, specialising in complex home modifications, home automation and assistive technology.
We are a small but mighty team who provide services to people in their homes and in the community to improve their everyday living and quality of life. We work generally with an adult caseload who have complex physical disabilities. We work with a variety of funding bodies.

Planot provides a specialised service. You will complete home modifications and assistive technology work. Our focus is the provision of high quality, beautiful and functional solutions for our clients, which means we will often redirect referrals that are outside our area of expertise.
Who are we looking for?
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapy Team Lead with expertise in Complex Home Modifications and/or Assistive Technology to join our dynamic team. This leadership role involves providing direct patient care, mentoring staff, developing program strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality occupational therapy services. The ideal candidate will possess robust clinical skills, leadership experience, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
This opportunity will suit a highly organised Occupational Therapist who is able to collaborate with a like minded team. You will be challenged, have the opportunity to learn new skills and be financially rewarded.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and manage a small occupational therapy team, including training, performance management and assistance with recruitment.
Manage a clinical caseload with realistic KPIs.
Provide expert clinical guidance and support to the therapy team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Develop, implement, and evaluate therapy programs.
Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the overall leadership of the company.
Skills:
Leadership, mentoring and staff management skills.
Excellent assessment skills, lateral and creative thinking to determine solutions to address your client's complex needs.
A proven ability to communicate and build rapport with all cross sections of the community.
Excellent clinical reasoning and communication skills to produce quality reports and funding applications.
