The Role:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to join our team. This full-time role is pivotal in ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality services to our participants. As a Team Leader, you will oversee a team of support workers, ensuring they provide exceptional care and support to our participants while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of support workers to deliver high-quality services.
- Coordinate and oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with NDIS standards and organisational policies.
- Develop and implement individual support plans in collaboration with participants and their families.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members, providing feedback and identifying training needs.
- Manage rostering and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet participant needs.
- Act as a point of contact for participant inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organisational and NDIS requirements.
- Foster a positive team culture that promotes collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement.
About You:
- Strong understanding of the NDIS and disability services sector.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a team.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and adept at using technology for administrative tasks.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with empathy and professionalism.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the community or disability services sector.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, disability services, or a related field.
- Valid Driver's License and demonstrated working knowledge of the SCHADS award.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and completion of mandatory NDIS training modules.
