We are proudly renowned as Queensland’s most recognizable supplier of Structural Steel products to this region's most prominent builders of residential detached housing and multi-density unit/townhouse developments. Your New Role
We are seeking a well-rounded Team Leader to lead our night crew working across our entire factory operations located at Cleveland. As Team Leader you will be accountable for co-ordinating all team operations and enabling the achievement of daily production & quality targets across fabrication & welding, machine operations, paint bay & loading trucks for early morning delivery. You will be known for your leadership skills where you can motivate work teams to achieve their full potential along with facilitating a culture which respects fairness, diversity and meets the requirements of fair work legislation. An important part of the role will be training new starters and employees in safe work practices and facilitating a safety first culture.
Specifically, you will be able to demonstrate –
- Success in previous leadership roles where you have driven a strong culture and achieved daily production & QA targets.
- Developed technical skills at trade level, more than likely developed from Certificate 3 Engineering Fabrication Trade (Boilermaker) or equivalent.
- Proven commitment to upholding WH&S & Fair Work principles in a workshop environment.
- Success with training employees in safe work procedures will be well regarded.
