If you are interested in the role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum bachelor level tertiary qualification in a relevant human service discipline (for example, Social Work, Psychology, or allied health).
  • Significant experience working with clients with complex needs, with alcohol and other drug dependencies and/or mental health concerns.
  • Extensive applied knowledge in contemporary evidence based AOD counselling practice, case management and intake and assessment.
  • Experience in developing and facilitating evidence based clinical education programs.
  • Excellent stakeholder consultation skills.
  • Ability to collate key documentation to support staff supervision and manage key reporting requirements.
  • A current and valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
  • Local area knowledge (desirable).
  • Previous experience leading a small team of Clinicians (desirable).
