Salary- Department for Health and Wellbeing - Governance Advisory Services - Assurance and Compliance
- Salary: $106,512 to $115,137 - ASO7 - Full Time / Ongoing appointment
The Team Leader Assurance position is a key role within the Department for Health and Wellbeing (DHW) Governance Advisory Services branch and is accountable to the Associate Director, Assurance and Compliance for:
- Assisting in the development and delivery of the DHW Internal Audit Plan
- Planning, conducting and reporting on internal audit projects undertaken as per the approved DHW Internal Audit Plan
- Providing leadership to the Assurance team and managing external providers as required
- Managing and undertaking special projects and investigations on behalf of DHW
- Providing professional advice to management within DHW regarding risks and controls, processes and systems.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.

Criminal History Screening Requirement
- A National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)
SA Health Services are required to implement the in the workplace.
Special Conditions
Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Studies, Economics or other related discipline.
