We are seeking an enthusiastic 'hands on' Full Time Team Leader for the seasonal afternoon shift which operates in-between June to February. With the option to switch to day shift between March to May
15% loading applies to Afternoon shifts that finish after 6pm
Monday to Thursday 2.30pm to 11pm
Friday 12pm-6pm
Reporting to the Factory Manager this is a perfect role for someone who thrives on challenges and has the competency to run semi automatic machinery and equipment . As a Team leader, you play a crucial role within our manufacturing team, providing valuable feedback to team members along with offering guidance and support.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Operation of equipment used for spinning Chocolate Easter eggs & other products
- Troubleshooting and continuous improvement
- Upholding quality control, GMP & Health and safety guidelines
- Leading, training and supporting other operators
- Following SOP's and target recipe specifications
- Working with and following on from the day shift Team Leaders
- Working in conjunction with our packing Team Leader
- Line running paperwork
- Cleaning equipment and surrounding work areas
- Setting up, change over's and line shut downs including helping factory lockup

- Experience and understanding of chocolate tempering and process
- A background in a manufacturing environment
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people from a diverse background
- Technical & mechanical mindedness

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to lead a small team
- Strict attention to detail and quality standards with the ability to adhere to Food Safety and OHS policies and standards.

- Punctual and reliable
