The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Team Leader who shares our values and who are passionate about empowering people with disability to achieve their hopes, dreams and aspirations.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A strong desire to increase independence and community participation for people with disability
- The ability to lead, provide guidance and motivate a team to support clients to engage in community groups and activities
- Ability to write accurate, clear and informative reports
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of NDIS and experience in utilising a range of community-based supports and methods to achieve client goals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with key stakeholders including families and guardians
- Willing to complete a mixture of administration work and support work.
- An ability to work autonomously, following client support plans and working towards achieving outcomes;
- Strong customer service experience would be highly valued;
- Administration / Report writing skills;
- Flexibility with working hours;
- Possess a current WA drivers license, a suitable car with Registration and Comprehensive Insurance;
- Ability to obtain a NDIS Clearance
- Ability to obtain a current National Police Clearance issued within the past 6 months;
- Ability to obtain a current First Aid Certificate and CPR certificate;
- Eligibility to work in Australia;
