Role:
The Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the three programs with the support and oversight of the Program Manager. This role will provide leadership and direction to the supported crisis accommodation and outreach teams and establish a culture of service excellence where optimal client outcomes are achieved. This role will ensure compliance in all operational areas including service delivery, risk management, and continual quality improvement.
The role works closely with team members to deliver individual performance management, as well as the delivery of the program models and strategic plan via annual individual work plans, supervision, and effective communication mechanisms.
The Team Leader also leads a team of professionals, providing supervision and guidance to ensure targets are met and that the service remains client-centered, timely, responsive, and evidence-based.
Criteria:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree qualification in Social Work, Youth Work, Psychology, or other welfare-related area.
- Prev. Team Leader experience, managing frontline case managers and/or support workers.
- Skilled in leading, supervising and motivating a team to achieve targets and ensure quality outcomes for clients.
- Demonstrated experience delivering support and accommodation services to disadvantaged and at-risk young people including young families who are experiencing and impacted by homelessness.
- Current Victoria Drivers License
