The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader - Information Technology to join our Melbourne office. The role will assist with the efficient operations of the SJ Group IT Systems and Network in a globally focused role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Network Operations Team in operating and managing the SJ Corporate IT network
• Assist in managing the core Corporate IT Network systems and mechanisms to deliver a robust operational corporate IT environment.
• Assist in supporting SJ Group organisations and their business-critical applications & IT Network.
• Efficient management of the SJ Group's corporate data protection, backup and disaster recovery systems.
• Project resource for rollouts of new technologies, upgrades and deployments across Group Technology.
• Participate in Group Technology ad hoc activities.
• Mentor & lead a team of 2-4 System Analysis.

About You

The ideal applicant will have demonstrable experience in a similar role ideally within a professional services environment. In addition, we are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with;

Typically, experience in the operation of an enterprise level virtual environment, including:

• Operation of an International Active Directory/DNS/DHCP environment.
• Operation of an enterprise level virtual environments.
• Working in public and private corporate data centres.
• Maintaining Virtual Machine architecture environment - preferably ESXi Hosts
• Managing Vendors/maintain licence renewals.
• Have racked and installed Server Equipment.

Skills / Knowledge

• Knowledge of VMWare Systems, maintaining/patching/upgrading.
• Knowledge of HP Hardware Server; Be able to Deploy a new HP Server to key locations when they need replacing.
• Knowledge of automated endpoint deployment and management using centralised management tools.
