About the role
The Team Leader - Maternal & Child Health will provide leadership, supervision and support to staff to ensure a comprehensive service delivery in accordance with the Maternal & Child Health program standards and service agreement.
The role works closely with the Maternal & Child Health Coordinator in ensuring a high-quality service is delivered to families with children aged birth to 5 years.
The Team Leader will become an integral member of the Child, Youth and Family Services leadership team and will have a holistic approach to leadership.

About you
You will have proven leadership experience and be solution focused with a positive can do attitude. You will have a current registration with AHPRA as both a Division 1 Registered Nurse and Midwife, with the necessary qualifications to practice as an MCH nurse in Victoria. Experience in Universal Maternal & Child Health desirable.
The successful applicant will have the ability to conduct comprehensive health assessment screening of children from birth to six years, a clear understanding of influences on maternal, parenting and family wellbeing, and a capacity to identify, plan and respond to individuals, families and community health needs within a rural municipality context.
