About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Team leader to join and lead our new depot in the Melbourne Metro region.
You will be instrumental in delivering a top-class customer service experience to all of our members and being a part of our Victorian expansion. Your skills will assist us in establishing a well-run recycling depot to service the Melbourne Metro region.

The Role:
This position requires an experienced leader and multitasker who goes above and beyond in what they do with strong administration skills as well as people skills.
This is a hands-on role where you will be working on the warehouse floor with your team and operating our speedy recycling machines covering staff on their lunch so we are looking for a hands-on leader!
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Lead a newly established recycling depot
- Manage rostering and have effective time management
- Work closely with senior management to meet the needs of the depot
- Meet daily/weekly/monthly targets
- Work with numbers to report back to our head office
- Improve customer service experience
- Take ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolution
- Set a clear mission and deploy strategies focused towards that mission
- Analyse statistics and compile accurate reports
- Recruit, mentor and develop staff and nurture an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment
- Keep ahead of industry's developments and apply best practices to areas of improvement
- Control resources and utilise assets to achieve targets
- Adhere to and manage the approved budget
- Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities
- Follow workplace safety procedures
About you:
- Previous experience working in retail and hospitality environments
- Excellent customer service
- A talent for problem-solving and providing fast and effective solutions.
- You are a team player in the business of people and service delivery. You are someone who wants to give the best experience possible.
- You have solid Safety and PPE knowledge
- A bubbly, bright and positive personality is a must with a positive, can-do attitude
Desirable
- Forklift Licence
- Leadership experience or management qualifications
