Purpose of Job
- Lead and grow the in South Australian multidisciplinary transport advisory and planning team in one of the world's top design firms.
- Create a team dynamic that has a sense of purpose and fulfilment.
- Lead a team by providing direction and support; enable individuals to make meaningful contributions to the wider Stantec.
- Draw on leadership from across the country to allow these leaders to make meaningful contributions to the South Australian market/team.

Day to day tasks would involve:
- Support the VIC/ SA Business Leader with monitoring and reporting on the performance of the business unit.
- Ensure allocated projects and proposals are planned, programmed and appropriately managed to meet or exceed client expectations.
- Initiate and manage business development opportunities, actively participate in and lead client service through establishing and maintaining strong relationships.
- Coordinate resource and technical development requirements with Practice Leaders, Technical Discipline Leaders and other Team Leaders based both locally and in other Australian Offices.
- Lead and/or review proposals for pricing, approach and methodology, variation estimates and submission documents, and review and evaluate subconsultant tender response submissions to ensure they are suitable.
To be successful for this role you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of related work experience
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects and working collaboratively with clients and colleagues both regionally and nationally.
- Expert in dealing with a range of clients and stakeholders including local authorities, government bodies and commercial companies.
- Strong ability to prioritize workloads whilst maintaining strong and trusting work relationships with our clients and colleagues both locally and across the broader Stantec team.
