The position will provide leadership capability for both the onshore and seagoing voyage management personnel, including fatigue management and personnel scheduling.

Your duties will include:

  • Leading the Voyages team by managing the achievement of key goals, providing a positive working environment characterised by technical excellence, creativity, innovation and flexibility.
  • As the Voyages Team's immediate manager, supporting their development, establishing workplace culture and having a focus on Health, Safety and the Environment.
  • Being an advocate for Program strategy and goals to staff; identifying issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Representing the Program at internal and external forums.
  • Participating on occasions as onboard Voyage Manager.
  • Directing resources, taking calculated risks within tight financial, HR and time constraints.
