About the role
TAFE NSW is seeking a Permanent Part Time Part Year Technical Assistant (Heavy Vehicle) to work in the Automotive Teaching Section at Dubbo Campus. The role is responsible for providing support in the preparation of materials and equipment to support educational delivery. In the role, you will ensure the ongoing care and maintenance of equipment, facilities, and grounds with the teaching section.
The role involves offering support to the teaching staff in the delivery of assessment and training of practical tasks. As well as maintaining the tools and equipment utilised by the teaching section in accordance with Work, Health, and Safety requirements.
About You
Working in a supportive environment, you will play a vital role in assisting with the delivery of educational programs. Your experience in a trade environment and well-developed knowledge of tools and equipment will be key in this role.
Your initiative to identify and organise resources required by students and staff will deliver service excellence. You will enjoy working in a performance driven team with strong values and integrity.
You are passionate about ensuring the servicing and cleaning of tools, machinery and equipment to provide students & staff with serviceable resources and be familiar with Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
You will place the customer at the centre of all decision making and reflect the TAFE NSW's values in the way you work.
