About the Role

We are currently looking for an entry level role as a Technical Assistant that wants to build a lucrative career in the mining industry and secure a role with our western based operation - Airly Mine.

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, your role will be responsible for

• Collection and management of strata data and monitoring
• Assisting with underground and surface related technical tasks
• Environmental inspections
• Surface inspections
• Review and collation of reports for monitoring inspections
• Assisting with stores yard area management
• Providing input and assistance with risk management

Suitable candidates will have

• Compliance with legislation, safety, and environmental standards
• A willingness to understand and learn the of technical, environmental and operational aspects of mining
• Ability to carry out work duties safely and ensure others do the same
• Good ability to organise and manage own workload
• Strong trouble shooting and fault-finding skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team environment or individually
• Strong computer literacy
• Willingness to learn onsite programs and software
• Previous experience working in a similar type environment or role may be advantageous
